BAE Granite State Regional Champions!

We need your help!
Forty-eight high school robotics teams met on March 1st at the Verizon Center for the 2008 BAE Systems/Granite State Regional competition to qualify for the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Championship in Atlanta in April.
Each team receives a common kit of parts in January along with the challenge the robots have to accomplish. For the 2008 game the teams had to build a robot that could race, knock down and move 40 inch inflated balls. Each match is 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
Pembroke Academy won the Granite State Regional in an alliance with teams from Trinity High School in Manchester and a team comprised of several high schools from Newport County, Rhode Island. The team went on to compete with 62 teams at the Chesapeake Bay Regional and were semi-finalists.
The team would like to have their robot participate in the Championship and are currently fund-raising. If you can help please send a check to Pembroke Academy FIRST Team, 209 Academy Road, Pembroke, NH 03275 or donate through Google Checkout on this site.
